FUNDRAISing Project
Art for Ethiopia is a personal fundraising project I created in order to fund my travel to do humanitarian work in Ethiopia. I painted a series of watercolor paintings and I created a set of polaroid emulsion lift photographs; then I asked my network of friends and family to make a donation in exchange for a piece of original artwork.
I created an identity for the project, print pieces to support the work and an online storefront to make it easy for others to read my story, select art, and donate toward my trip. I promoted the project through social media and word of mouth.
